Book 30, Question 148
What can one town do to help its lake?
A town can plant native trees along the shore, fix leaky septic systems and storm drains, and hold clean-up days.
People can switch to phosphorus-free soap and take care with fertilizer. Schools can monitor water. Clubs can teach boaters about invasive species. Many small actions add up to cleaner water, and every town can start with one.
