How do you read your town’s water quality report?
Many towns publish a report each year about their tap water.
It lists what was tested, such as germs, chlorine, minerals, and metals like lead. Next to each item is the amount found and the safe limit. If the amounts stay below the limits, the water meets the rules. Reports also say where the water comes from. You can find yours on your town’s website, with a grown-up’s help.
