Book 29, Question 142
How can gardeners share extra vegetables?
When a garden grows more than a family can eat, the extras can go to neighbors, friends, a community fridge, or a food bank.
Many food banks gladly accept fresh, clean produce. Some gardeners plant an extra row on purpose to give away. Sharing food builds friendships and helps people who might not have fresh vegetables. Ask a grown-up to help find a place that accepts donations.
