Book 29, Question 132
Can you regrow vegetables from kitchen scraps?
Some scraps will grow again.
Put the white root end of a green onion in water, and new green shoots grow quickly. The base of celery or romaine lettuce, set in shallow water, sprouts new leaves and roots. A potato with sprouting eyes can be planted, but potato sprouts are not food. A carrot top only grows leaves, not a new carrot. Change the water often.
