Book 28, Question 137

How do adaptive sports include more players?

Adaptive sports change the equipment or rules so people with different abilities can play.

Wheelchair basketball uses special chairs, and players with limb differences may use prosthetics. In sledge hockey, also called para ice hockey and popular in Canada, players sit on sleds and use two short sticks. In sitting volleyball, players stay on the floor. These games are fast, strong, and exciting.
