Book 28, Question 117
How do smart balls track their own movement?
Some balls have tiny sensors inside that measure motion.
An accelerometer feels speed changes, and a gyroscope senses spinning. A small chip sends this data wirelessly to a phone or computer. Coaches can see how fast the ball spun, its speed, and when it was kicked. Some soccer balls have sensors that help officials check whether a player was offside.
