Book 27, Question 60
What is Epsom salt?
Epsom salt is not table salt.
It is magnesium sulfate, a mineral that forms clear, needle-like crystals. It was first found in 1618 in the water of a spring near Epsom, England. People use it in baths, in gardens, and for science projects because it dissolves easily and makes beautiful crystals. It is not for eating, so never taste it.
