Book 27, Question 25
How can you spot crystals at home?
Look for flat shiny faces, straight edges, and sparkle that flashes when you move.
Salt and sugar are crystals. Ice is a crystal. Many sand grains are tiny quartz crystals. The granite on a counter is full of crystals too. A magnifier or a microscope will show more details, and shining a flashlight from different angles helps you see their flat faces.
