How was Super Glue discovered?
It was too sticky to use, so he set it aside.
In 1942, chemist Harry Coover was looking for a clear plastic when he made a chemical that stuck to everything it touched. Years later, he realized the sticky stuff could be a wonderful glue. Super Glue sticks very quickly and strongly. Kids should never use it without a grown-up.
