Book 25, Question 139
What makes a city a good place for kids?
A kid-friendly city has safe sidewalks and crossings, parks and playgrounds, libraries, bike paths, and places to meet friends.
Slow traffic near schools, shade, and clean air make playing outdoors easier. Planners sometimes ask children for ideas, because kids notice things grown-ups miss. Walking and playing outside help bodies and minds grow strong.
