Book 24, Question 118
What is a time capsule?
A time capsule is a sealed container filled with items and buried or hidden to be opened in the future. People put in newspapers, photos, letters, and objects that show what life is like now. The container must be watertight so the contents stay safe underground. One famous capsule buried in 1939 is meant to stay shut until the year 6939.
