What Happens to a Raindrop on Its Way Down Through the Forest?
A raindrop hits the canopy first. Some drops cling to leaves and evaporate straight back into the air, while others drip from leaf to leaf or run down branches and trunks. So a raindrop's trip through the forest can be long and slow!
