What Is Ultraviolet Light, and Why Can't We See It?
Ultraviolet light, or UV, has waves a little shorter than violet light, so our eyes cannot see it! The Sun gives off a lot of UV, and it can cause sunburn and hurt your eyes. Never look straight at the Sun, and ask a grown-up about sunscreen and sunglasses.
